Engineering Lead (Lead TPM)Nokia North Sydney, New South Wales, Australia2 days ago Be among the first 25 applicantsJob DescriptionAs a Lead Technical Project Manager at Nokia, you will lead the technical delivery of NI IP integration and deployment projects from presales through to postproject phases, ensuring highquality and ontime delivery of all technical deliverables. You will act as the primary technical interface with customers and internal teams, driving collaboration across presales, delivery and customer engineering services. You will face exciting challenges, making a significant impact on the success of our projects and customer relationships.How You Will Contribute And What You Will LearnLead strategic and highly visible projects that significantly contribute to business impact.Interface with sponsors and key stakeholders at the executive level.Own and manage customer relationships for assigned scope in services, delivery and performance areas.Ensure proper communication to relevant stakeholders for technical requests, emergency cases, outages and project delivery issues.Seek new opportunities to expand and renew contracts with the customer.Act as the primary customer interface for technical communications, addressing project requirements, risks and escalations effectively.Analyse the feasibility of service requests in terms of resources, planning and quality to ensure contractual scope and milestones are met.Lead endtoend technical delivery management for complex NI IP integration and deployment projects, ensuring highquality and timely outcomes.Support delivery management of integration/deployment technical deliverables, owning communication, scheduling, resource management, change management, risk mitigation, escalations and all other areas.Coordinate with crossfunctional teams, including presales, delivery and support, to optimise project execution and enhance customer satisfaction.Determine causes of any perceived deviation, anticipate risks and evaluate related financial and customer satisfaction impacts.Facilitate technical documentation creation, including HLD, LLD and TSS, to support integration activities and project compliance.Drive customer issue resolution by identifying roadblocks and leading corrective actions, ensuring continuous improvement.Monitor, report and optimise service delivery in alignment with relevant processes and tools, providing sufficient operational visibility to stakeholders.Participate actively in project meetings, reviews and handoff processes to represent the Technical Project Management team effectively.Support the presales phase by aiding in technical planning and contributing to solution architecture proposals.Prepare and support the PM to provide a comprehensive deployment status report for stakeholders on a regular schedule.When required, provide support for deployment activities by attending maintenance window work; weekend work may be required.Lead the closing and delivery of final project technical documentation.Perform resolution and closing of technical deployment issues.Provide input to Operations Reviews and Lessons Learned.Participate in project handoff / knowledge transfer to CARES.Key Skills And Experience10+ years of extensive relevant experience.Handson experience including design, build, deploy, migration, troubleshooting and faultfinding.Experience with Nokia IP Router portfolio 7x50 XRS/SR/ESS/SRa and 7705/7210/7250 portfolio.Certifications such as Nokia SRA/Virtuoso, Cisco CCIE, Juniper JNCIE or equivalent are a plus.Linux/Unix shell and datacentre networking knowledge.Good to haveKnowledgeable of Virtualisation, SDN & NFV concepts and related technologies.Knowledgeable of E2E Mobile Solutions, Mobile & Packet Core concepts.Knowledgeable in scripting and programming languages and techniques.Knowledgeable of Network Management Systems, networking concepts and related technologies.About UsAdvancing connectivity to secure a brighter world.Nokia is a global leader in connectivity for the AI era.
