You''ll be part of a friendly and supportive team where everyone no matter what role contributes ideas and drives outcomes.What role will you play?As a software engineer in the enterprise AI enablement team, you will be at the forefront of designing and building the robust, scalable backend systems that power our AInative solutions. With a primary focus on software engineering excellence, you will spend the majority of your time writing productiongrade code and automating complex workflows to create a resilient foundation for our agentic AI ecosystem. You''ll take endtoend ownership of your products in a modern DevOps culture, responsible for architecture, design, development, testing and operations. Working in a multidisciplinary team alongside our data scientists, you will apply your engineering expertise to implement "LLMOps" best practices and streamline the deployment and monitoring of cuttingedge AI models.What you offer5+ years of experience as a software engineer in an agile DevOps environment using an objectoriented development language (Python preferred)Experience across the full SDLC including design, build, test and supporting missioncritical production platformsStrong proficiency in writing robust, productiongrade code to build scalable backend solutions and automate complex workflowsDemonstrated proficiency with CI/CD pipelines and managing deployments in a containerised cloud environment (Docker/Kubernetes)Exposure to modern agentic AI concepts and frameworks: RAG, MCP, GCP Vertex AI, Google ADK, LangChain, LangGraph or LlamaIndexKnowledge of "LLMOps" best practices for streamlining model experimentation, deployment and monitoring in a live environmentWe love hearing from anyone inspired to build a better future with us, if you''re excited about the role or working at Macquarie we encourage you to apply.What we offerAt Macquarie, you''re empowered to shape a career that''s rewarding in all the ways that matter most to you.
