SITA is a Great Place to Work and offers a supportive, innovative environment.PurposeManages the technical design and development of complex crossfunctional multiplatform applications and systems.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop costeffective robust designs that are based on a thorough, holistic analysis of functional and nonfunctional requirements, accounting for dependencies, constraints, and technological feasibility.Act as the technical expert for multiple applications, systems, or technologies, providing guidance to less experienced developers.Recommend and participate in the selection of new technologies and technical processes.Perform complex application programming activities, including coding, testing, debugging, documenting, maintaining, and modifying systems.Qualifications10+ years'' experience in a software engineering environment designing and developing software applications.Knowledge & SkillsExpert level with Java build tools (Maven, Gradle, Fastlane) and docker tools (Harbor, Docker, DockerCompose).Extensive experience with configuration tools (Ansible, Ansible Tower), Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitLab, ADO pipelines, and CI/CD tools.Strong experience in Python, Bash, PowerShell, Unix/Linux systems, RHEL, SELinux, networking fundamentals, and largescale distributed system design.Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), containers, IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation), monitoring (Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk), and DevSecOps practices.Profession CompetenciesAgile Development, Application Design Architecture, Application Testing, Cloud Computing, Commercial Acumen, Configuration Management, Innovation, Performance Measurement, Product Design/Architecture, Technical Excellence, Technical Writing/Documentation.Core CompetenciesAdhering to Principles & Values, Communication, Innovation, Customer Focus, Impact & Influence, Leading Execution, Results Orientation, Teamwork.Education & QualificationsBachelor''s or Master''s degree in Computer Sciences or Engineering.Professional programming certification in a mainstream language is a plus.Formal project management training is preferred.What We Offer Flex Week: Work from home up to 2 days/week.
