You''re going to help us create seamless operations that result in efficiency for millions of customers.In this role, you''ll:Work in the Transport Management Centre, leading a team of Motorway and Tunnel Operations Controllers to meet performance objectives and improve outcomes for our customers.Ensure appropriate incident and congestion management responses are implemented by Motorways Management System (MMS) and other traffic management systems.This is a temporary full-time position until January 2027 based at our Eveleigh office Monday to Friday. Transport for NSW is currently in consultation to determine our workplace presence proposal which could see non-frontline employees primarily required to work from an approved office location under a hybrid agreement. This particular role is currently based at our Eveleigh office hub, allows for some flexible working arrangements working predominantly from our Eveleigh office Monday to Friday. You have demonstrated experience, knowledge and understanding of traffic management and the operation of smart motorways and the road network. Your experience in MMS, Sydney Co-ordinated Adaptive Traffic System (SCATS) and SRMS operations and/or other similar systems in the optimising techniques used by smart motorways will be highly desirable.
