With over 550 employees across Melbourne, Sydney, and New Zealand, we are expanding rapidly with a strong blueprint for further growth this year.About the RoleWe are seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to join the SaaS Security Posture Management (SSPM) Squad within CBA''s Cyber Security division. This role plays a critical part in supporting CBA''s major modernisation program to strengthen the security of its SaaS ecosystem.You''ll be responsible for implementing, configuring, tuning, and managing CBA''s SSPM technology solutions, enabling secure integrations with SaaS partners and driving automation to support self-service across the enterprise.Key ResponsibilitiesImplement, configure, and manage SaaS Security Posture Management (SSPM) and Threat Protection (TP) solutions.Support the design, build, and deployment of custom connectors to integrate CBA''s SaaS partners into the SSPM platform.Tune and maintain security posture baselines and associated threat detection configurations for onboarded SaaS platforms.Contribute to the automation development and DevSecOps practices, enabling teams to self-serve through efficient, secure automation.Collaborate closely with platform, security, and application teams to ensure smooth onboarding and continuous improvement of SaaS security capabilities.Work with CI/CD pipelines to deliver secure and repeatable deployments.Support the development and integration of security-focused automation tools and processes.Skills & ExperienceProven experience as a Platform Engineer, DevSecOps Engineer, or similar role in a large enterprise environment.Strong hands-on experience with Python for automation and integration development.Experience using Docker for containerization and deployment.Proficiency with AWS services and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) (e.g., CloudFormation, Terraform).Experience working with CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions, GitLab, or Jenkins.Familiarity with SaaS Security Posture Management tools and best practices (experience with SSPM platforms is highly regarded).Solid understanding of security controls, threat detection, and cloud security principles.Excellent problemsolving, collaboration, and communication skills.Nice to HaveExperience with threat detection and response tools in SaaS or cloud environments.Exposure to security automation frameworks or selfservice platforms.Knowledge of modern DevSecOps practices and cloud security governance.Our CapabilitiesWe''ve been doing this for businesses of all sizes across many different industries for almost 18 years.
