This role will make a real difference in the lives of children and families across our community. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will deliver health and development screenings in early education and care settings, and support children to reach their full potential through assessment, early intervention, capacity building, and direct care pathways.ResponsibilitiesSupport the implementation of the Brighter Beginnings preschool health and development screening program.Provide assessment, early intervention, capacity building and direct care pathways for children in SWSLHD.Participate in the evaluation of clinical outcomes of services.Assist in the development and provision of education and training programs for staff and community participants.QualificationsHold a bachelor or postgraduate degree in speech pathology that provides eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia, or an equivalent qualification recognised by the employer.Describe how your clinical experience supports both independent practice and teamwork, including your approach to quality improvement, communication, time management, and use of digital tools.Demonstrate evidencebased practice and professional development in assessing and managing paediatric clients (012 years), especially when adapting interventions for culturally and linguistically diverse populations.Possess an Australian CClass driver''s license (including P1 or P2). A license from a state other than NSW must be converted to a NSW CClass licence within three months of appointment.
