Our projects span across aerospace, space, aviation, defence, rail, and nuclear including:OneSKY Air Traffic Management SystemNancy Bird Walton, Western Sydney International AirportQueensland Train Manufacturing ProjectInland RailTfNSW Digital Systems ProgramThe roleAs part of the daytoday tasks of the role, you will:Create and review Safety Assurance Plans for client projects that address the full system lifecycleDevelop and review Safety Assurance Statements and ReportsProvide justification of achievement of Safety So Far As is Reasonably Practicable (SFAIRP)Manage and review Hazard Logs associated with various projectsParticipate in and facilitate hazard identification and assessments such as PHA, SHA, FMECA, HAZOP, etc.Use engineering change management tools to ensure design modifications are adequately assessedConstruct safety arguments using GSN and CAEEngage in the derivation of safetyrelated requirements and in verifying and validating them through relevant project lifecycle stagesAdvise on the safe design and installation of safetycritical systemsAbout youRelevant degree in engineering, computer science or risk/safetyAt least 2 years'' experience working in Systems Safety / RAMSExperience working in a safety or systems engineering role within aviation or defence industriesAuthoring and editing safety plans and safety cases using GSN and/or CAE methodologiesDemonstrated experience in the application of safety regulations such as International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) Regulations and CertificationThorough understanding of Australian safetyrelated legislation such as WHS and CASRHigh level communication and negotiation skills, including advanced reportwriting skillsExperience with Air Traffic Management Systems or communications systemsExperienced with Space Industry Regulations and practicesAirworthiness and Part 21.J Design CertificationBenefits of working at Plan SafeBe part of a passionate and caring teamExciting and varied projectsWe walk the talk on Diversity and InclusionBe mentored by industry leadersProfessional memberships and subscriptionsFlexible working options (remote and hybrid working arrangements)Exposure to different industries and projectsSeniority levelMidSenior levelEmployment typeFulltimeJob functionConsulting and Engineering, Business Consulting and Services #J-18808-Ljbffr
