They also offer tailored solutions for their clients, and are going from strength to strength.ResponsibilitiesPartner closely with the Principal Engineer to deliver features from initial design to production deploymentLead the development of reliable and high-performance backend systems, with a strong emphasis on scalability and stabilitySupport DevOps efforts, including infrastructure provisioning and maintenance using AWS and TerraformDesign and build robust integrations with third-party systems, such as financial platforms, IoT devices, and hardware interfacesWork collaboratively with Product Managers and UX Designers to ensure solutions are scalable, practical, and user-focusedDevelop and optimize API endpoints and data processing flows across the platformCreate clear technical documentation and contribute to ongoing internal knowledge sharingRequirements5+ years of experience as a Backend Developer, preferably in SaaS or complex integration environmentsStrong proficiency in Java (preferably Java 24) with a solid grasp of functional programming principlesDeep understanding of cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS services such as S3 and LambdaExperience with infrastructure as code using tools like TerraformSkilled in working with relational databases, including SQL and CRUD operationsStrong knowledge of Spring Security and security best practices for backend systemsProven experience in designing, building, and maintaining API-centric architecturesLocationHybrid - North SydneyHow to ApplyPlease apply asap with your CV to be considered for this position.
