Since 2002, PLAYFAIR has been contracted by the Australian Commonwealth Government to provide immigration assistance to asylum seekers, refugees, and disadvantaged humanitarian applicantsboth onshore and offshore.Please reply with up-to-date CV, contact and address details, passport biopage ( or vevo check if non-citizen) and cover letter identifying the position.Employer: PLAYFAIR is a multidisciplinary practice, comprising of International Crossover Pty Ltd trading as PLAYFAIR VISA & MIGRATION SERVICES and PLAYFAIR LEGAL Pty Ltd.About the RoleThe employee is expected to fulfil the specific duties, as outlined by the CEO and senior management, which from time to time will include any or all the duties listed below.Provide comprehensive legal advice and assistance to corporate clients and individuals across a range of visa subclassesAssume carriage of a caseload consisting primarily of employer sponsored, family and skilled visa mattersPrepare, review and lodge visa applications and other migration-related applications (such as skills assessments, requests for merits review, etc.)Manage the progress of client files from beginning to endLiaise with clients, the Department of Home Affairs and external organisations where appropriateWork within established routines, methods and procedures, exercise discretion and maintain confidential informationMaintain accurate files in accordance with protocols for LEAP Migration ManagerSkills and ExperienceMinimum 3-5 years experience in immigration law, specifically in the areas of employer sponsored, family and/or skilled visasExperience in litigation / Federal Court matters highly beneficialFamiliarity with Migration Manager an advantageSound understanding of Australian immigration laws, regulations and visa application processesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently, and as part of a teamEssential RequirementsCurrent legal practicing certificate or admission as a Registered Migration AgentSeniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionLegalIndustriesLegal Services #J-18808-Ljbffr
