About the Role Our Medical Writers work on a projectbyproject basis, delivering medical communications materials that involve the detailed analysis and clear presentation of clinical trial data. These materials posters, slide decks, and peerreviewed publications are used directly by our clients to communicate with external stakeholders and play a key role in the successful uptake of novel therapies. Medical Writers typically work on several projects across different disease areas simultaneously. In this role, you will work within project teams alongside experienced colleagues, who provide onetoone training on the technical aspects of the role, including project management and client communication. Delivering project work requires close collaboration with clients, and following a successful induction period, you will increasingly contribute to teleconferences and facetoface meetings with external stakeholders. You will be allocated a home team based on your interests and skills, and work within either the Publications or Medical Affairs teams. In the Publications team you will develop abstracts, manuscripts, posters, and oral presentations for conferences, and may also contribute to regulatory documents and policyfocused publications. In the Medical Affairs team you will support projects that act as a link between clinical development and commercial functions within pharmaceutical and medical device companies, communicating the scientific foundation behind products through medical education events, advisory boards and medical information resources. Key responsibilities: Analysing clinical trial data and creating materials for a range of audiences and formats. Working closely with clients, including participating in teleconferences and facetoface meetings. Supporting project management and client communication alongside experienced colleagues. Managing multiple projects across different disease areas simultaneously. Collaborating with teams across the company to develop a broad understanding of our service offerings and clients.
