We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional food experiences using fresh, locally sourced ingredients. As part of our continued growth, we are currently seeking to fill two (2) Chef positions within our kitchen team. Position Summary As a Chef, you will play a key role in the daily operations of the kitchen. You will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality dishes, supporting menu innovation, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards. This role requires creativity, efficiency, and a strong passion for hospitality. Key Duties & Responsibilities Prepare, cook, and present dishes in accordance with the restaurants standards Assist in designing and updating menus, including specials and seasonal offerings Ensure consistency in food quality, taste, and presentation across all services Monitor portion control and minimise food wastage Oversee food preparation and ensure timely service during busy periods Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic kitchen environment Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and food hygiene regulations Manage stock levels, conduct stock rotation, and assist with ordering supplies Train and supervise junior kitchen staff as required Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service delivery Skills & Experience Required Relevant qualification in Commercial Cookery (Certificate III or IV or equivalent) Relevant experience as a Chef in a busy kitchen environment Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines Understanding of food safety standards and HACCP principles Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment Strong organisational and time management skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Creativity and passion for food presentation and innovation Personal Attributes Reliable, punctual, and professional Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow Ability to take initiative and work independently Strong attention to detail Commitment to maintaining high standards Application Process Interested candidates are invited to submit their application, including a resume and cover letter outlining their experience and suitability for the role.
