With their head office in Shepparton and offices also in Melbourne, Sydney, Newcastle, Brisbane and Perth, Challenger Valves & Actuators are busier than ever. Challenger Valves & Actuators are now seeking a reliable and skilled Welder & Fabricator to join their team in Shepparton. This is a handson role suited to someone who enjoys variety, working across fabrication, welding, light machining and general warehouse support. About the Role Welding and fabrication of components to specification Reading and interpreting technical drawings Assisting with basic machining tasks Supporting assembly and modification of valve and actuator equipment General warehouse duties Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work environment Assisting with operational tasks as needed About You Proven experience in welding and fabrication (MIG/TIG preferred) Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Machining experience (highly regarded but not essential) A strong work ethic and willingness to be flexible across tasks Good attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship A teamfirst attitude with the ability to work independently when required Forklift licence (desirable but not essential) What We Offer Stable, fulltime opportunity with a growing business Variety in daytoday work Supportive and downtoearth team environment Opportunity to develop skills across fabrication, machining and assembly Apply now With your resume and a brief summary of your experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr
