Wed love to hear your story.Role PurposeAs the Specialist Social Performance, youll support the delivery of stakeholder engagement and community relations initiatives that ensure our presence contributes positively to host communities. Youll work collaboratively across the business to embed social performance into operational planning, proactively identify social risks, and drive sharedvalue outcomes that reflect our company values and community expectations.You will champion culturally safe, transparent, and inclusive engagementparticularly with Indigenous stakeholdersand play a key role in maintaining our obligations, agreements, and governance standards. You will support the delivery of strong social performance systems and community partnerships that protect and enhance our social licence to operate.AccountabilitiesFoster strong, respectful relationships with Indigenous and nonIndigenous stakeholders, including Traditional Owners, Native Title holders, local communities, government agencies and advocacy groups.Coordinate community relations initiatives to ensure our presence contributes positively to host communities and local needs.Provide advice on community impacts, issues, and opportunities to support reputation and operational decisionmaking.Support the fulfilment of obligations in Community & Stakeholder Engagement Management Plans and Native Title Agreements.Maintain accurate and timely records of stakeholder engagement activities.Identify opportunities for community partnerships aligned to the SocioEconomic Development Management Plan.Support the delivery of the Social Performance budget in line with operational targets and governance requirements.Contribute to the development, implementation, and review of AGAs social performance strategies, governance frameworks, and reporting requirements.About YouDemonstrated experience in community development, social performance, or related fields.Proven success in building and maintaining relationships, including with Indigenous stakeholders.Strong understanding of culturally safe engagement practices.Ability to negotiate and work with diverse stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes.Sound judgement, situational awareness, and the ability to navigate complex social issues.Knowledge of WA Goldfields stakeholders and regional dynamics (advantageous).Tertiary qualifications in social science or related disciplines (highly regarded).Strong digital literacy, including Microsoft Office and stakeholder management systems.Full Australian work rights and a National Police Clearance.Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are strongly encouraged to apply for this position.Culture and BenefitsToptier fully covered health insurance for you and your familyAttractive annual bonusOpportunities to work with respected external organisations26 weeks primary and 8 weeks secondary paid parental leaveWork for an endorsed WORK180 employer and an accredited Menopause Friendly WorkplaceAdditional training and development opportunitiesAccess to flexible working, including a workingfromhome dayActive committees promoting Inclusion & BelongingVolunteer Leave to support your communityAGAA recognises that standard recruitment processes are not accessible to everyone.
