Position Profile Each member of the Menu Assistant role has an important role to ensure that meal selections match a patient''s dietary requirements. This involves liaising with nursing staff and the dietitian team, and assisting patients to select items and fill out menu cards. Meal selections are checked against the patient diet system and totals are tallied to provide to St John of God Bunbury Hospital catering team who prepare the meals. Menu Assistants have a handson role in the kitchen to check and verify that platedup meals match each patient''s dietary requirements. Eligibility to Apply Applicants must have a valid working visa (for fixed term appointments) or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent appointments).
