Employment Details Employment Type: Temporary Full Time until 2 October 2026 (with possibility of ongoing employment) Position Classification: Nurse Unit Manager Level 3 Remuneration: $2,698.29 per week Hours Per Week: 38 Requisition ID: REQ656698 About This Role We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to lead the acute aged care ward as a Nursing Unit Manager. This position is a temporary fulltime role. Ward Details 9E is a 30 bed Acute Aged Care ward, including an 8 bed acute dementiaspecific unit. The ward cares for patients above 85 years old, with multiple comorbidities including Alzheimers & Dementia, Delirium, Behavioural and Psychological Symptoms of Dementia (BPSD). It boasts dedicated staff, strong teamwork and regular learning opportunities. You will be required to complete the OASV Undertaking/Declaration Form and TB Assessment Tool during the recruitment process. Registered Nurse Division 1 with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA) Relevant management tertiary qualification or equivalent experience; or a combination of study and work experience, demonstrating commitment to professional development. Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team. Demonstrated ability to lead, manage and support a clinical team. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and computer literacy in Microsoft applications, roster management systems and electronic medical records. Knowledge and/or experience in change management and initiating a new service delivery model within an established service. Evidence of and commitment to patient/customerfocused care, clinical governance and quality improvement.
