Cook At Zanini Pizzeria & Cucina Italiana, we bring the true taste of Italy to Elwood with a warm, family-friendly atmosphere and a passion for tradition. The restaurant is a long established and reputable Italian restaurant. We are now seeking a Cook to join our dynamic team: with ambient indoor and outdoor seating, the restaurant delivers authentic Italian cuisine and experience. Working in a well-established kitchen, your responsibilities will include: Preparing, seasoning, and cooking food Preparing food to meet special dietary requirements Portioning food, placing it on plates, and adding sauces and garnishes Ensuring quality of ingredients and dishes Adhering to health regulations when managing food Contributing to menu planning as required The ideal candidate will present with: Relevant Certificate III or IV qualification. At least 1-year full time employment in a similar role Ability and experience working autonomously in a fast-paced commercial kitchen Passionate and experience with Italian cuisine Ability to deliver high quality meals Fully conversant with Health & Safety regulations Flexibility to work split shifts, including evenings and weekends If you are looking for a great opportunity this may be the role for you.
