Employment Type Permanent Full Time (Part-time or job share opportunities may be considered) Position Classification Pharmacist Gde 3 Remuneration 137,103.89 - 140,813.79 full time equivalent base salary range (+12% super + 17.5% leave loading and salary packaging) Hours Per Week 38 Requisition ID REQ656002 Location Westmead Applications Close Midnight on 23 April 2026 What Youll Be Doing The purpose of the Team Leader role is to lead and coordinate a team delivering comprehensive pharmacy services within the Pharmacy Department at SCHN sites. Requirements The practice area for this role will align closely with the operational requirements of the Pharmacy Department. Areas that may require senior pharmacist leadership are as follows but are not limited to these areas: Dispensary Inpatients Outpatients Repeat Prescription Dispensing with courier delivery and telehealth service Clinical Team Leader Medicines Information Drug Utilisation / Quality Use of Medicines service Medication Safety service Clinical Trials Support Pharmacy Clinical Applications Manager Pharmacy Store and Medicines Distribution services Non-sterile Manufacturing service Aseptic Manufacturing service Quality Manager Sterile facilities, Extemporaneous Production and Refrigerated storage Pharmacy Educator Research Coordinator DTC and Formulary management Advanced Therapeutics service Additional Benefits (for eligible employees) Flexible work opportunities, Salary packaging and meal entertainment benefits, accrued days off (ADOs), fitness passport, employee assistance program (EAP) How To Apply Click Apply Online and submit your application including: A resume (maximum 5 pages) outlining your experience Responses to the following questions: Registered as a practising pharmacist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with postregistration clinical or management/leadership qualifications or equivalent Significant experience and a demonstrated high level of competence, expertise, skill and application of clinical judgement in clinical pharmacy services relevant to defined practice area(s). Excellent written and oral communication skills, including demonstrated ability to develop high quality written guidelines, procedures, educational, research or business materials. Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills, including communication, negotiation, team building, influencing, conflict resolution and the building of a positive workplace culture. Proven ability and commitment to effectively rolemodel, champion and promote teamwork and to manage and develop staff (both formally and informally). Demonstrated skills and experience in managing a complex workload, problem solving and development and implementation of initiatives. Demonstrated commitment to professional development. Experience in a busy tertiary hospital setting, with paediatric experience desirable.
