Job Description

Overview Applejack Hospitality is seeking experienced Waitstaff to join our dynamic team across premium dining venues in Sydney. As Head Waitstaff, you will provide high-quality food and beverage service in a fast-paced environment, delivering exceptional customer experiences in line with our company standards. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise a section of the restaurant floor, ensuring smooth service and high standards are maintained. Greet, seat, and engage with guests, providing professional and attentive service throughout their dining experience. Take and coordinate food and beverage orders, with detailed knowledge of menus, daily specials, and wine pairings. Oversee and support junior wait staff, providing training, guidance, and feedback. Manage table allocations, coordinate with the kitchen and bar teams, and ensure efficient service delivery. Respond to and resolve guest concerns in a professional and timely manner. Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety, hygiene, and RSA requirements. Contribute to maintaining service standards and supporting overall restaurant operations. Skills and Experience To Be Considered, You Must Have: A minimum of two years relevant experience in a comparable restaurant environment. Strong knowledge of food and beverage service, including wine and cocktail service. Ability to work under pressure and handle high-volume service periods. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Commitment to delivering outstanding guest service. A current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certificate. Salary and Conditions This is a full-time position with an annual salary of $76,515 Grade 4+ plus superannuation, in accordance with industry standards. Weekend and evening work will be required.
