Job Summary Casual Vacancies all shift types $34.59 p/h + super, penalties & more Bateau Bay location Uniting Nareen Gardens are seeking to hire casuals for our Bateau Bay aged care service. These positions will commence on a casual basis with the opportunity to transition to permanent roles for the right candidates. What Youll Be Doing In This Role Youll provide care, companionship and emotional support to residents living in our aged care home, to help support their independence and improve their quality of life. Providing daily living assistance such as showering, personal hygiene, dressing, help at mealtimes and with general mobility. Assisting with medication and simple wound dressings. Who Were Looking For Ideally, youll have a Certificate III/IV in Aged Care, Individual Support, or equivalent qualification. If youre not qualified and would like to be, we can help you get there. Youll have previous experience in aged or community care, or a passion to begin your career in aged care if youre studying or have recently become qualified. Youll be adaptable, empathetic, and resourceful, and you will be able to live Unitings everyday values of being compassionate, respectful, imaginative, and bold.
