Lead Business Analyst Showtime Consulting is a leading provider of Shielded Cloud and Digital Solutions based in Australia and New Zealand. We specialize in delivering secure, enterprisescale technology solutions across highly regulated environments. We are seeking an experienced Lead Business Analyst (Lead BA) to oversee business analysis activities for a large enterprise business unit within the SmartComms delivery program. Contract and permanent employment options available. Key Responsibilities Act as the primary Business Analysis lead for a major enterprise business unit within the SmartComms program. Represent SmartComms in Initiate and Deep Dive sessions, working with the Iteration Manager, DOC SMEs, and Technical Lead to define scope, solution approach, level of reuse, and delivery estimates. Oversee all initiatives and streams of work, ensuring requirements, mockups, and technical specifications are delivered to a consistently high standard. Identify overlaps and reusable components across initiatives to enable effective sequencing, dependency management, and resource allocation. Ensure agreed BA processes and standards are consistently applied, including requirements documentation, traceability, and playback sessions. Be accountable for the quality of outputs from all Business Analysts aligned to the business unit. Lead and facilitate playback of business requirements to the wider program for review and formal signoff prior to development commencing. Support DOC SMEs through Product Owner signoff activities. Identify, analyze, estimate, and manage change requests, ensuring impacts to scope, timelines, and delivery are clearly understood. Lead System Integration Testing (SIT) arrangements, coordinating with DOC SME testers and delivery teams. Approve deployments to higher environments once entry criteria and quality gates are met. Act as a key liaison between business, delivery, and technical stakeholders to ensure alignment throughout the delivery lifecycle. What Youll Need Extensive experience as a Senior or Lead Business Analyst within largescale enterprise delivery programs. Proven experience leading and governing BA teams across multiple initiatives or work streams. Strong background in requirements documentation and validation, including functional, nonfunctional, and technical requirements. Experience working in Agile, iterative, or hybrid delivery environments. Ability to work closely with Technical Leads to understand solution design, dependencies, and opportunities for reuse. Experience supporting Product Owners and managing change requests through formal governance processes. Strong understanding of testing lifecycles, particularly System Integration Testing (SIT). Excellent stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and communication skills. Experience in insurance, financial services, or other highly regulated enterprise environments is highly desirable.
