6month maternity cover part time, 4 days a week Join Sydney Adventist Hospital, the states largest private hospital, as part of a collaborative, passionate and professional Allied Health team. You will work 8:30am4:30pm, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, with occasional oncall Saturday requirements. Remuneration and benefits $5063/hour (incl. super) Notforprofit salary packaging to reduce tax Discounted gym membership via Fitness Passport Oncampus amenities: caf, gift shop, florist and hairdresser Additional benefits available What You Will Be Doing In This Role As an experienced Speech Pathologist you will assess, diagnose and provide patientcentred interventions for speech, communication and swallowing disorders across Oncology, Stroke, Surgical, ICU, General Medical and Rehabilitation wards. You will perform thorough screening, assessments, diagnosis and interventions using evidencebased techniques, and may use instrumental assessments such as FEES. Who Were Looking For Qualified Speech Pathologist with acutecare and rehabilitation hospital experience Strong clinical skills in evidencebased therapy and detailed assessments Experience with FEES and/or VFSS preferred Member of SPA or eligible to become one Excellent verbal and written communication Positive, collaborative, clientfocused attitude Ability to thrive in fastpaced, shifting environments Selfdirection and independent professional judgement About Us Adventist HealthCare operates the San Day Surgery, Hornsby, and Sydney Adventist Hospital (the San).
