Description Fun and active roles teaching essential swim skills to all ages. Perfect role for positive, flexible and customer focused individuals. Casual positions up to 38 hours per week. Salary $38.63 per hour (includes 25% casual loading) + 12% superannuation. Penalty rates apply for weekend work. About The Role The Swim Programs Instructor plays a vital role in delivering swim programs tailored to various skill levels. This position requires a focus on participant safety, quality service, and adherence to established guidelines to facilitate skill development in a supportive atmosphere. Our casuals have a great opportunity to get to know all of our Swim Programs teams from Peninsula Leisure Centre Woy Woy to Toukley Aquatic Centre and enjoy variety in the teams, tasks and days and times worked. As an instructor, you will prepare lessons, monitor participant progress, and maintain effective communication with both participants and staff. Your contributions will directly impact the success of our programs and the satisfaction of our community members. Qualifications Current AUSTSWIM qualification in teaching swimming and water safety or equivalent. CPR certification and a valid Working with Children Check. Experience in delivering swim programs and a strong customer service orientation. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Location Central Coast, NSW the Council is ideally located on the northern fringe of Sydney and just an hours drive from Newcastle.
