Apply and lets start the conversation.We are now seeking an Underground Mine Surveyor to join our Underground Survey team at Tropicana.About the roleReporting to the Senior Mine Surveyor, this role is accountable for managing and performing surveying activities to enable the efficient and safe achievement of targeted mine production. It comes with a great opportunity to work with the latest underground technology, including Exyn autonomous drones. This role is based at our Tropicana Gold Mine on an 8 days on/6 days off FIFO roster from Perth and/or Kalgoorlie.Taking an active approach to safety to ensure you and your team are in line with the companys values, policies, and proceduresExtension and verification of UG & surface survey control network using Leica instruments to exceed regulatory accuracy requirementsScheduling and prioritising survey tasks, liaising between technical departments and mining contractorPerforming surveying activities necessary for the safe achievement of targeted mine production of underground development, production, and drillingRegularly updating mine models, void scanning, and end of month process for reportingUsing various forms of spatial data to create plans and reports for UG mine advancementBe an active team member contributing to business unit for delivery on critical tasks.About youPeople are at the heart of everything we do.
