RPAH is one of Australia''s leading hospitals, providing an extensive range of diagnostic and treatment services. Its specialities include cardiology, obstetrics and gynaecology, cancer, respiratory medicine, neurology, and liver and kidney transplants. Working in a multi-faceted health facility, the role has a strong emphasis on positive engagement with clinical teams, patients and their families in the provision of security services for the protection of people, property and crime prevention within Sydney Local Health District (SLHD) facilities and properties serviced by SLHD Security. This includes taking proactive steps in the early identification and prevention of incidents. Ideal Candidate Licensed according to the Security Industry Act 1997 Class 1A. Hold a current Senior First Aid Certificate and a current NSW Drivers Licence (P1 and P2 acceptable). Ability to perform 12hour shift work on a 24/7 rotating roster across the facilities within the District. Demonstrated intermediate level computer operating skills, e.g., through experience with contemporary electronic security alarm monitoring systems access building control, CCTV surveillance, data entry, and radio communications.
