Description We are looking for a talented Diesel Technician to join our high performing team in Wetherill Park. In this role, you will complete repairs and rebuilds on engine products across all market segments (predominantly automotive) in a service workshop under supervision. Responsibilities Complete repairs and maintenance of heavy diesel products Diagnose and repair engines Disassemble, inspect, and clean engines and/or engine components Engine rebuilding and reconditioning Maintain work area and tools for cleanliness and proper operation Assist with required documentation, such as work completed documentation, timesheets, warranty claims and quality forms, via handwritten forms or business system input screens Ensure adherence to all relevant Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures and legislation and report any issues/incidents to supervisor Qualifications Mechanical trades qualified as a Heavy or Light Vehicle Mechanic (to Australian standards) Previous repairs and maintenance experience with Diesel Engines, Power Generation, On Highway Truck, Construction or Agriculture desirable but not essential Diagnostic and problemsolving capabilities Team player and prepared to adhere to Cummins Policies Ensure adherence to all relevant Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures and legislation, reporting any issues/incidents to shift supervisors Strong safety focus and willingness to adhere to Cummins policies and procedures Willing to meet service KPIs Selfmotivated and willing to work independently Innovative mindset Create a positive work environment by following Cummins Values Willingness to learn Cummins products, attend online and classroom training Customer focused and willing to work minimum overtime when required Strong attention to detail Strong focus on quality repairs Compensation and Benefits Competitive hourly plus shift allowance rate paid as a permanent salary Overtime compensation for all work above standard hours Monday to Friday 38hour work week Participation in an annual variable compensation (bonus) program Income protection continuance insurance Discounts with select private health insurance PC software/hardware and a range of vehicles Annual remuneration reviews Safety equipment/PPE and uniforms provided #J-18808-Ljbffr
