School Crossing Supervisor Part-Time Adamstown Public School Location: Adamstown, NSW, 2289Employment Type: Permanent Part-TimeSalary Range: $26.43 $1071.24 per hour (including superannuation) Responsibilities Supervise school crossing shifts at Adamstown Public School during school zone hours (8:159:15AM and 2:453:45PM), Monday to Friday. Provide 20 hours of supervising per fortnight: 1 hour in the morning and 1 hour in the afternoon. Ensure safety of children, parents, teachers and local motorists; monitor traffic and respond to potential dangers. Display effective communication skills and be alert to potential hazards. Show up regardless of weather; maintain a visible presence on the road. Qualifications Minimum age of 18 years at the time of appointment. Reliable, punctual and able to work in all weather conditions. Willingness to obtain a Working with Children Check, Reference Checks, Police Check and a Health Assessment is vital.
