Job Details Temporary full-time 2 years Location: Queanbeyan Clerk Grade 7/8, Salary from $113,574 to $125,720 plus super and leave loading About the role NSW Public Works (NSW PW) is part of the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development and supports many different local and state government agencies to deliver critical infrastructure initiatives by providing expert advisory, planning, design, delivery and support services. We are currently seeking a Project Manager to join the South Coast Riverina team working in the Queanbeyan Office. As an NSW Public Works Project Manager, you will be expected to manage and contribute to the planning and delivery of building and civil infrastructure projects and ensure time, cost, quality, safety and environment targets, and corporate expectations are met. Responsibilities Manage and contribute to the planning and delivery of building and civil infrastructure projects. Ensure time, cost, quality, safety and environment targets are achieved. Collaborate with a range of stakeholders and participate in business development activities to create opportunities for repeat and new business. Qualifications Appropriate university qualifications in architecture, building, project management, engineering, or similar. Demonstrated understanding and experience in managing the planning, procurement, and delivery of building works. Construction, design, or contract management experience, including consultant or construction contracts, and preferably GC21 and MW21 contract administration. Ability to work independently and in a team. Participation in project planning meetings and execution of assigned tasks. Excellent written, interpersonal, and communication skills. Strong relationship skills with the ability to influence positive outcomes and provide excellent client service. Leadership qualities, sound reasoning, and acute problemsolving ability. Strong selfstarting motivation and a desire to succeed. Natural inclination to assist others. Strong written communication and effective use of digital tools, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project). Current NSW Driver Licence and willingness to travel if required.
