Freelance InDesign Specialist Long Document Layout & Typesetting Location: Sydney / Hybrid Engagement: Freelance Start: Week of 20 April 2025 (including ANZAC Day long weekend) Rate: Competitive day rate Were working with one of our favourite Sydney agencies on a pre-ANZAC Day project and need a second InDesign specialist to help deliver a substantial document to a tight deadline. The Project Youll be working on a 130+ page document being transitioned from MS Word into InDesign. The final copy lands in the week leading up to ANZAC Day and needs to be completed over the long weekend so availability across that full period is essential. What Were Looking For Layout And Typesetting Specialist This ones for the designer who genuinely loves the craft of a wellbuilt document. You know your way around a master page, you build style sheets properly and your grids are something to behold. Youll be responsible for the structural and typographic foundation of the document, including: Building and managing paragraph and character style sheets Setting up grids, margins and master pages for consistent layout across 130+ pages Flowing and formatting large volumes of text with precision Maintaining visual consistency and typographic hierarchy throughout Working efficiently within a fastturnaround production environment Youll Bring Advanced InDesign skills with a strong focus on long document production Deep knowledge of style sheets, grids and master pages A genuine design eye technically rigorous but visually considered Experience working on largescale documents such as reports, proposals, government documents or corporate publications The ability to work autonomously and deliver to deadline #J-18808-Ljbffr
