We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Event Manager to join our team at the Art Gallery of NSW. Reporting to the Head of Events & Catering, you will play a key role in the coordination and delivery of diverse eventsfrom stylish private dinners and creative offsite catering to largescale corporate events and memorable weddings. About the Role FullTime Permanent position based at one of Sydney''s premier cultural institutions. Manage all aspects of event planning, including quoting, coordination, and execution for a dedicated client base. Build and retain excellent relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal operations teams. Prepare detailed event sheets, proposals, and accurate handover documentation for the operations team. Conduct postevent followups within 2 days to gather feedback and secure future opportunities. Contribute to budgeted revenue and profit targets through upselling and commercial awareness. Maintain accurate records and task management within the Momentus database. About You Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role within catering, hospitality groups, or venues. Tertiary education preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills for both clients and internal departments. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines and manage event loose ends. Proficiency in event software, specifically Momentus, is highly regarded.
