Rehabilitation Consultant Physiotherapist or Exercise Physiologist Part-time Job Status: Part Time We are seeking individuals with a professional background in Exercise Physiology or Physiotherapy, registered with AHPRA or ESSA, interested in working in the Occupational Rehabilitation sector in Sydney NSW area. Responsibilities Case management (caseloads are manageable, with support of Rehabilitation Assistants to alleviate administrative tasks). Apply your clinical knowledge to improve return-to-work outcomes. Work with employers and employees to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programmes. Collaborate with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals. Work across various schemes such as workers compensation, compulsory third party, life insurance, Comcare, Department of Veterans Affairs, and employerfunded injury prevention programmes. Assist those with an injury or health condition to achieve return-to-health and return-to-work outcomes. Complete a variety of assessments: initial, workplace, and vocational assessments to review diagnosis, support treatment plans, address psychosocial barriers to employment and identify suitable employment opportunities for workers who have sustained workplace injuries or injuries sustained from motor vehicle accidents. Qualifications Tertiary qualification in Exercise Physiology or Physiotherapy and registration with AHPRA or ESSA. Previous experience in Occupational Rehabilitation industry highly regarded. Excellent communication skills. Compassion, kindness, and empathy. Time management skills. Current NSW Drivers License and access to own car with comprehensive insurance.
