With 149 inpatient beds, 12 operating theatres, 22 ICUlevel beds, day therapy and radiotherapy services, we offer advanced technologies in a purposebuilt facility designed to support patients and staff alike. The Opportunity Our busy unit supports a range of patients following complex oncological surgeries and medical treatments. It also provides the hospitals clinical emergency response service. Supported by a Clinical Nurse Educator the unit offers a CAP accreditation program for those interested in studying critical care. Senior employees have opportunities to participate in and develop the roles of team leader, CERS responder and undertake the internal ALS course. We are keen to welcome new employees to our team, and the unit offers a range of roster patterns including 12 and 8 hr shifts enabling a worklife balance or study options. Essential Criteria Current Australian Registration AHPRA A minimum of 2 years of recent experience within a critical care environment Current ALS or willingness to complete as part of employment.
