Job Description - Policy Officer, Electoral Funding and Lobbying (0000B9GF) About the role The Policy Officer (Electoral Funding and Lobbying) coordinates and undertakes policy development, providing analysis and advice to support the NSW Electoral Commissions regulatory functions, initiatives and commitments. The role also supports political participants to comply with statutory obligations by providing timely, accurate, impartial, and clear information and communications. This is a full-time ongoing role graded as Clerk7/8. Key knowledge, experience and essential requirements Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent education/training to demonstrate commitment to learning. Experience in policy development and collaborating with stakeholders. Experience in applying legislation and following processes in a regulatory environment. Highly developed written and verbal communication skills. Politically neutral with no current or past affiliation to political parties or lobbyists/campaigners. Satisfactory Criminal Record check result.
