Overview Healthcare Education initiative seeks medical professionals and nonmedical personnel passionate about teaching basic firstaid and personal hygiene. Location & Compensation Location: Ubud, Bali, Indonesia Duration: 212 weeks Cost: from 350 GBP per week Fee includes all food, accommodation, predeparture and incountry support, orientation and all project related activities. Does not include flights, travel insurance, personal spending, visas and vaccinations. Responsibilities Conduct health camps and dental checkups with qualified professionals. Teach basic hygiene techniques (handwashing, toothbrushing, body cleanliness) to children in local schools. Assist in organising checkup clinics for local children and adults (if medical background). Attend daily meetings with the Medical Officer to review health issues and training requirements. Prepare lessons one to two hours each morning and teach for two to three hours each afternoon. Participate in engagement activities and provide feedback after each school visit. Requirements Medical background is not required but highly welcomed. Passion for teaching and community health.
