Location and Duration Location: Vancouver, Canada. Duration: Minimum 6 weeks. Cost: From 2295 USD. Fee Includes: all food, accommodation, predeparture + incountry support, orientation and all project related activities. Overview Care for injured and orphaned wildlife at Canadas largest wildlife rehabilitation center near Vancouver. Focus on bird rehabilitation, helping species like songbirds, shorebirds, and waterfowl recover and return to the wild. Responsibilities Help care for nearly 5,000 injured, orphaned, or pollutionaffected animals each year. Perform tasks such as feeding, cleaning, habitat preparation and basic treatment support. Assist with relocation of animals from urban areas to safe, remote habitats to reduce humanwildlife conflict. Tasks vary seasonally and based on animal needs, offering a physically demanding and fastpaced environment. Qualifications Physical stamina for demanding, fastpaced tasks. Commitment to work 68 hours a day, four days a week, with three days off. Motivation to learn new skills and work alongside experienced staff and volunteers from around the world.
