Summary We are looking for a skilled and experienced Maintenance Fitter to join our afternoon team at our Chipping Norton recycling facility. This is a full-time role. You must be able to work from 2pm to midnight Monday to Friday and overtime available on weekends. Your role will be to maintain all plant and equipment and provide assistance to other members of the maintenance team as required. You will be required to conduct breakdown maintenance as required and work towards a preventative maintenance schedule. Responsibilities Steel fabrication & welding of new & replacement parts Scheduled maintenance of Screening Plantand Crushing Plant Scheduling servicing ofScreening Plant and Crushing Plant Emergency repairs of Screening Plant and Crushing Plant Team input to improve current plant design and assist with re-engineering and installation Gas cutting, Gas welding, arc welding and mig welding Some confined space/ restricted access work as directed. The successful candidate will: Hold a current trade certificate as a fitter, diesel mechanic, boilermaker or similar; Holding one or more of the below tickets would be desired but not essential; Forklift Ticket Working at Heights EWP Working in confined spaces Have experience working on repairing crushing & screening equipment; Have prior experience in planning and carrying out preventative maintenance, including preparing a maintenance schedule; Have previous experience in fabrication and welding; Be able to trouble shoot and perform breakdown repairs; Have a safety focused attitude; and Have a positive attitude.
