Job Details Tamworth location Parttime, Monday to Friday Make a real difference in the lives of seniors About Uniting Tamworth Uniting Tamworth comprises two colocated facilities operating as a single service: McKayHouse, home to 60 residents across three households, and AlblasLodge, also supporting 60 residents across five smaller household clusters. Our dedicated catering team has the opportunity to deliver services from a central production kitchen, while also engaging directly with residents through meal service within each household. Position Overview As a Care Worker in Hotel Services, youll play a key role in supporting independence, dignity, and comfort by providing essential services in catering to create a positive and enriching daily experience for our residents. This role is primarily MondaytoFriday morning shifts, with the potential for occasional afternoon shifts. (Kitchen operating hours are6:30amto8:00pm). Qualifications & Experience CertificateIII in Hospitality or an equivalent qualification (Preferred, not mandatory) Food Safety Certificate (Highly Desirable) Handson experience in hospitality or food services whether in catering, cooking or kitchenhand roles (Highly desirable) Knowledge of safe food handling practices and a passion for preparing quality, nutritious meals. Previous experience in community care or aged care is a bonus. Youre empathetic, adaptable, and resourceful, with a commitment to delivering excellent service.
