Were looking for an experienced and commercially sharp Carrier Manager to join our Linehaul team in Sydney. This is a newly created position and a genuine opportunity to shape and professionalise how we manage our subcontractor carrier network. What will you be doing? Own the performance of our subcontractor carrier network from scorecards to reviews and improvement plans Be the primary relationship owner for all carriers, keeping them engaged, accountable, and aligned to our standards Drive compliance across the network, including CoR obligations, inductions, vehicle standards, and D&A requirements Manage capacity planning, carrier onboarding, and commercial carrier rate reviews to keep the network strong and costeffective Why should you apply? Youll work closely with the operations leadership team, have a direct impact on service quality and cost efficiency, and help build something genuinely new within a wellestablished national business. What you need: Solid background in transport, linehaul, or freight logistics, ideally with exposure to subcontractor or carrier management Strong understanding of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) obligations and carrier compliance requirements Demonstrated ability to manage commercial relationships and hold carriers accountable to performance standards Confident with data, able to build, read, and act on carrier scorecards and performance metrics Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a calm, direct approach Selfmanaged and proactive, able to structure your own week and drive outcomes without close supervision Experience with transport management systems and Microsoft Office suite #J-18808-Ljbffr
