Flexible working Hrs: Working hrs are flexible and cater to your personal needs. We are open Monday-Friday 9am-7pm and Saturday 8am-2pm. Hybrid Role: The role is hybrid, it is a combination on in-clinic and offsite clients. You have the freedom to manage your client list based on your availability. Monthly Supervision Sessions: We value the importance of supervision in professional growth and development. Our team members participate in monthly supervision sessions, where they receive guidance, support, and constructive feedback from management. Multi-Disciplinary Team with a Family Dynamic: Join our team of 70 highly skilled Podiatrists, Speech Pathologists, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapist, Exercise Physiologists, BSP, Psychology, Remedial Massage Therapists who work together in a supportive and inclusive environment. We foster a family dynamic, encouraging teamwork, camaraderie, and a positive work culture. Key Responsibilities Review patients medical history to evaluate the condition of the feet, ankle or lower leg Carry out diagnosis on the feet through X-ray examination and medical laboratory tests Prescribe and fit prosthetic appliances such as shoe inserts to improve patients mobility Specialize in podogeriatrics to treat feet and lower leg problems in elderly people Perform foot and ankle surgeries to remove bone spurs and address leg deformity Refer patients to other specialists to treat conditions such as diabetes or arthritis Direct and supervise the activities of podiatrist assistant and trainee podiatrists Advise patients on ways to increase speed of recovery and prevent future leg problems Monitor the recovery progress of patients to determine the need for change in treatment Operate instruments such as X-ray, lasers, grinders, and visual gait-analysis equipment in the treatment of patients Attend educational conferences and seminars to update job knowledge. Qualifications and Skills Bachelors degree in Podiatry Practicing Member of the Podiatry Association Interpersonal skills: Able to work with different groups of patients including children and the elderly Critical thinking skills: Able to properly diagnose and develop treatment plan for patients with feet problems Empathy: Compassionate towards patients undergoing feet treatment and are able to reassure them.
