PROJECT / SENIOR EXPLORATION GEOLOGIST DEVELOPMENT / INFILL FOCUS A Western Australianbased gold exploration and development company is seeking an experienced Project / Senior Exploration Geologist to support resource definition and infill drilling programs across advancing gold assets. Role FIFO 2:1 roster 3month contract Immediate start preferred Reporting to the Exploration Superintendent, this role is focused on delivering highquality geological inputs to support resource upgrades and project development decisions. The position requires a technically strong, handson geologist who is comfortable operating close to the drill rig while contributing to interpretation and model refinement. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and execute infill and resource definition drilling programs in line with development schedules Supervise RC and diamond drilling, including detailed geological logging, sampling, and robust QA/QC practices Ensure consistent, accurate and timely capture of geological data within AcQuire and GIS platforms Deliver detailed orebodyfocused geological logging to support grade and domain continuity Conduct targeted geological mapping with an emphasis on controls on mineralisation and structure Integrate drilling, mapping, geochemical and geophysical datasets to refine geological and mineralisation models Provide technical input into resource estimation workflows, including interpretation, domaining, and modelling support Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure geological outputs meet development and reporting requirements About You Tertiary qualification in Geology Demonstrated experience in gold resource definition and/or developmentstage exploration Strong, handson background supervising RC, Diamond and Aircore drilling programs High confidence in logging quality, geological interpretation, and data integrity Proficient with Micromine, ArcGIS, AcQuire or similar exploration software Solid experience in 3D geological interpretation and modelling First Aid and 4WD certification Whats on Offer Opportunity to work on advancing gold projects nearing key development milestones A role with meaningful input into resource confidence and project outcomes Shortterm contract ideal for experienced geologists seeking focused development exposure Competitive daily rate depending upon experience #J-18808-Ljbffr
