Are you a 2nd, 3rd or 4th year Mechanical Apprentice with handson CNC machining experience, looking to finish your trade in a brandnew, modern workshop with a respected national employer? Above award wages Secure, fulltime apprenticeship Work in a brandnew, purposebuilt workshop Exposure to modern CNC lathes and/or mills Be part of a national organisation with longterm career opportunities Structured mentoring and support through to trade completion What youll be doing: Assisting with setup, programming, and operation of CNC lathes and/or milling machines Manufacturing highprecision components Performing routine machine maintenance and basic faultfinding Dismantling, cleaning, measuring, and assessing parts Supporting small machining jobs and general workshop activities Workshop upkeep and occasional local deliveries What were looking for: 2nd or 3rd year Mechanical Apprentice Proven exposure to CNC machining (lathes and/or mills) Experience with Fanuc, Mazak, Okuma or similar controls highly regarded Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Reliable, punctual, and safetyfocused Sound computer literacy Australian citizen or permanent resident Training & Support: Youll be employed by MRAEL and supported by a dedicated Apprentice & Employment Consultant, providing: Ongoing mentoring and performance support Coordination of all offthejob training Regular checkins to support your progress through to completion Youll be working towards: Certificate III in Engineering Mechanical Trade (Fitting and/or Turning) Ready to apply?
