ABOUT THE ROLE This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Building Code Consultant or Accredited Certifier to step into a well-established, industryleading consultancy. Based in Liverpool, youll be responsible for delivering professional building code compliance services across a wide range of commercial, residential and industrial projects. BENEFITS Competitive salary package with genuine career progression Work with one of Australias largest multidisciplinary consultancies Stable, longterm opportunity in a supportive environment Modern office based in Liverpool with flexibility and hybrid options DUTIES Undertake daytoday functions as an Accredited Certifier and Principal Certifying Authority Assess and issue Complying Development Certificates and Part 4A Certificates under the EP&A Act and Regulations Prepare inspection reports and BCA assessments for various building classes Provide clear, expert advice to clients across written and verbal channels Liaise with Fire & Rescue NSW and fire safety engineers on performancebased solutions Assist with fee proposals and contribute to business growth initiatives Conduct building audits and ensure compliance with all relevant codes and standards ABOUT YOU Minimum 2 years experience as a Building Regulations Consultant or Accredited Certifier (Local Government or Private Sector) Registration as an Accredited Building Certifier (A2 or A3 preferred) or eligibility to obtain Comprehensive understanding of the EP&A Act, Regulations, and BCA Volumes 1 & 2 Proven experience across a mix of Class 29 projects Strong attention to detail, communication and organisational skills Proficient in Microsoft Office; Bluebeam and BCS experience highly regarded Must have full working rights in Australia THE COMPANY Established in 1990, our client is one of Australias largest and most respected multidisciplinary consultancies, providing expertise across Building Code, Fire & Life Safety, Accessibility, and Essential Safety Measures.
