As a pastoral care volunteer, youll be actively involved with a local Christian church, offering comfort, presence, and hope to those who need it most. Can you offer a listening ear and a prayerful heart to someone longing to be heard? Youll supplement and complement the work of our HammondCare At Home Pastoral Care Coordinator, and under their direction you may: Support people to meet their spiritual needs Youll find that as a pastoral care volunteer youll nurture your own spiritual life. HammondCare HammondCare is an independent Christian charity and we''re passionate about improving the quality of life for people in need. We have a wonderful group of volunteers that partner with us to enhance the lives of the clients cared for by HammondCare. HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.
