Leveraging BG&Es 50+ years of proven expertise in buildings, roads and rail, our vision is to build a multidisciplinary engineering and project delivery business capable of delivering projects with a capital value of up to $500 million, while upholding BG&Es long-standing reputation for technical excellence.As part of BG&Es global network of over 750 professionals across Australia, New Zealand, Southeast Asia, the United Kingdom, and the Middle East, we are backed by an international civil and structural engineering consultancy celebrated for innovative, award-winning designs that prioritise practicality and constructability.At BG&E Minerals, we share the same purpose that unites all of BG&E the belief that truly great engineering takes curiosity, bravery and trust, and is the key to creating extraordinary built environments.The RoleThe purpose of this role is to support the establishment of BG&E Minerals and its growth into the Mining and Minerals sector within Queensland by assuming a range of responsibilities such as:What to expect day to day:Undertake civil design requirements on various projects including but not limited to road design, earthworks, carparks, paths, intersections, drainage, traffic management and grade separated interchanges.Deliver civil design model outputs to the requirements of clients, drafters and designers.Delivery quality and accurate model outputs in accordance with Civil standards and project requirements.About YouYou will be a key contributor within BG&E Minerals Civil team where youll apply your expertise across a range of projects.Working knowledge and understanding of Austroads, Australian Standards and Road Authority requirements to meet the relevant to road geometry design.Be passionate about learning and seek feedback to ensure professional and technical career development.Good understanding of civil and road engineering principles, road geometry design process and road safety considerations and requirements.Proficient in the use of 12D and/or Civil 3D and OpenRoads would be an advantageProficient in the use of drafting software packages such as AutoCAD and Microstation, including Vehicle tracking software.Minimum 5+ years of experience in the design and delivery of road and highway infrastructure projects.Good understanding of BIM / DE requirements and deliverablesEffective communication skills.What We OfferFlexible / Hybrid working arrangements aimed at achieving real work life balanceCompetitive remunerationGenerous leave arrangements including a purchased leave schemeHealth and wellbeing support via confidential EAP programGender Equity, Diversity and InclusionEquality is part of our DNA We value who you are it begins with our values and continues through our culture and is fostered throughout our workplaces.
