The role suits someone who enjoys combining handson technical input with people leadership and client engagement.Key responsibilitiesProviding technical leadership across civil engineering disciplines including roads, earthworks, stormwater drainage, building site works, and water and sewerage reticulationLeading and reviewing civil designs to ensure highquality, compliant project deliverablesActing as a clientfacing technical lead and representing Hatchs values and standardsSupporting project delivery from early studies through to detailed design and construction phasesMentoring and developing civil engineers and supporting performance management outcomesContributing to continuous improvement of civil design practices and processesCollaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated project solutionsAbout youYou will hold a degree in Civil Engineering from a recognised tertiary institution and bring demonstrated experience in a similar senior or lead civil role. Your background will include strong design capability across bulk earthworks, site grading, surface water management, access and haul roads, and earth structures. You are committed to health and safety outcomes, comfortable providing technical authority, and confident engaging with clients.
