Seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated, mature and committed Qualified Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. Teaching Early Childhood (Education & Training) Early Childhood Teacher Part Time (ThursdayFriday) Christ Church Gladesville Preschool is a Christian Preschool that has been serving the local community for over 47 years. We are committed to providing a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment where 35 year olds can learn, grow, discover their world and develop meaningful relationships. We are open 8:00am 3:30pm during school terms. Christ Church Gladesville Preschool is a child safe organisation and is deeply committed to embedding the Child Safe Standards. Key Responsibilities To lead, guide and support a team (consisting of a diploma educator and an additional needs support worker) To develop and implement an educational program in collaboration with the team that is aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework and based on observations of children''s learning, development and interests To work as an effective team member and in a collegial manner with all staff To engage in critical reflection To adhere to the Preschool''s philosophy which is founded on and shaped by Christian beliefs. To contribute to and participate in quality improvement and the assessment and ratings process. Key Skills An in-depth knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Framework Sound knowledge of early childhood development A passion for working with children The ability to communicate and build partnerships with families Commitment to the inclusion of children who have higher learning support needs The ability to be an active member of an experienced and professional team The ability to deliver Bible story time as required. Experience in using online learning platforms such as Storypark Commitment to upholding the Child Safe Standards Qualifications A Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Education) or equivalent, approved by ACECQA Current Teacher Accreditation Number A current Working With Children Check A current First Aid qualification Current Asthma and Anaphylaxis training Child Protection training Foundations of Child Safety training Food Handling Basics Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required for this position To be considered for the position you will need to address the above key criteria in your cover letter and resume and provide a reference from the Minister of the Church that you currently attend.
