Acciona Construction Australia Pty Ltd is looking for fulltime Intermediate and Advanced Riggers. You will assemble and install rigging gearincluding ropes, cables, pulleys and winchesto position structural steel and other heavy materials for the construction of transmission network infrastructure. Only riggers with experience working on transmission projects of any complexity will be considered. Projects Central West Orana Acciona Construction Australia Pty Ltd is part of a consortium including Cobra and Endeavour Energy that have entered a commitment deed with EnergyCo as the preferred network operator for the CentralWest Orana Renewable Energy Zone (REZ). This will be serviced by new transmission network infrastructure, including transmission lines and energy hubs, which will transfer power generated by solar and wind farms to electricity consumers. HumeLink East Acciona Construction Australia Pty Ltd and Genus Infrastructure (NSW) Pty Ltd have been engaged by Transgrid to deliver the eastern portion of the HumeLink project. HumeLink East involves the expansion of the existing Bannaby 500kV substation, along with the design and construction of a new 500kV doublecircuit transmission line. This new transmission line will connect the Bannaby 500kV substation at the Wondalga interface point with HumeLink West. Qualifications & Responsibilities High Risk Work Licence (Rigger Intermediate and/or Advanced) For Intermediate: successfully completed UETDRT0016 Installing Transmission Structure Hardware or equivalent; or demonstrated ability to perform duties as a Transmission Structure Hardware Installer assisting overhead transmission lines personnel. For Advanced: successfully completed CertificateII Transmission Line Construction UET20422 or equivalent. Ability to operate brakes, winches and associated rigging equipment to position steel units. Ability to assist overhead transmission lines personnel to string overhead transmission conductors. Can perform any of the duties outlined above and any further work as per skills and qualifications. Must meet the minimum requirements to be enrolled with a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) that can deliver a HighRisk Work Licence (NSW) specific to rigging and/or CertificateII Transmission Line Construction. Must be able to demonstrate expertise in relevant transmission line technologies, safety standards and work conditions, noting specific requirements for transmission line work in Australia. Base hourly rates are $46.09 for Intermediate Riggers and $48.39 for Advanced Riggers, with a base takehome package starting at $100,000 (not including overtime). Salaries will vary based on specific roster arrangements. Additional allowances apply in accordance with the Enterprise Agreement. Camp Accommodation Central West Orana Workers will be engaged on a 14/7 roster and will be provided with camp accommodation. The primary camp will be located in Merotherie, NSW. Camp facilities include dry and wet mess, recreational activities room, covered sports field, outdoor sports field, gym, medical centre, BBQ areas, community room and an onsite convenience store. HumeLink East Workers will be engaged on a 21/7 roster and will be provided camp accommodation. Camps are in Yass and Adjungbilly. Camp facilities include dry mess and wet mess rooms, laundry facilities, wellness support, gym and open areas for outdoor activities. #J-18808-Ljbffr
