Working both independently and as part of a team, the Cleaner helps create safe, welcoming environments for staff, residents, and visitors. This position sits within our Property Services team and is responsible for performing a wide range of cleaning duties across offices, public amenities, accommodation units, operational buildings, and other facilities. Tasks include general and detailed cleaning, handling of cleaning equipment and chemicals, and ensuring buildings are secure and ready for use. About you: Reliable and punctual: strong attendance record, consistently arrive on time. Team-Oriented with a positive attitude: work well with others, contribute to a supportive team environment. Detail-Focused and quality driven: take pride in work, ensure all areas are cleaned to a high standard, proactively identify areas needing attention. Safety-Conscious: follow WHS procedures, use chemicals and equipment responsibly, maintain a safe working environment. Flexible and Adaptable: willing to respond to varied tasks and schedules, including emergency cleaning needs or different council locations. Good Communicator: follow instructions, keep records, report issues promptly, communicate effectively with supervisors and team members. Flexibility to work across various Council sites, including early morning or after-hours shifts when required. A current driver''s licence and reliable transport would be an advantage.
