Senior Behaviour Support Practitioner Posted: 20/04/2026 Closing Date: 20/05/2026 Location: Perth, WA Job Type: Permanent - Full Time Category: Clinical Practice We are looking for an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner with extensive experience working with diverse clients with complex needs and staff supervision and mentoring responsibilities. Responsibilities Providing Positive Behaviour Support for children and adults with complex disability, psycho-social support needs, complex mental health issues and trauma-based presentations Conducting assessments of a clients presenting issues and support needs, identifying appropriate supports, interventions and service models Designing, developing and implementing intervention plans and strategies Facilitating the delivery of clinical frameworks and activities Providing client support including clinic or homebased sessions, training and resource development Working with a multidisciplinary team to optimise outcomes Participating and/or leading complex projects including multiagency projects and systemic intervention Coaching and mentoring less experienced practitioners on both formal and informal basis Qualifications Tertiary qualification in Psychology or a related discipline (e.g., Education, Habilitation, Social Work) relevant to behaviour support Experience working with people with complex clinical presentations within complex systems to achieve positive outcomes for clients Minimum 5 years experience in providing clinical and/or behaviour assessment, intervention and support in the disability, outofhome care and/or other relevant sectors Demonstrated ability to apply a range of lenses to behaviour support, including a Neurodevelopment, Attachment & Traumainformed approach Assessment against the NDIS Quality & Safeguards Commission''s Positive Behaviour Support Capability Framework at the Proficient level or higher Demonstrated experience in providing practice or formal clinical supervision to others Additional Requirements Current Drivers Licence Current Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening, or ability to obtain these checks Willingness to adhere to government vaccination requirements for workers in certain sectors Benefits Flexible working hours Positive outcomes and making a difference in peoples lives Supportive environment fostering employee interests with opportunities for growth and development Regular highquality supervision Commitment to quality and passion to make a difference Strong leadership and good reputation Care and support for employees Diversity in caseloads and the types of work we do Opportunities to work collaboratively with a professional, experienced multidisciplinary team #J-18808-Ljbffr
