WA Office of Crime Statistics and Research Salary: Level 5 $105,167 - $114,938, Level 4 $95,782 - $100,526 p.a plus 12% superannuation (PSCSAA 2024) Position number: 013309, 013310 Work type: Fixed Term - Full Time, Permanent - Full Time Location: Perth CBD Closing date: 2026-05-05 4:30 PM About The Role The Office of the Western Australian Crime Statistics and Research (WACSAR) undertakes and supports independent research and analysis into crime and criminal justice issues in Western Australia. WACSAR is responsible for interpreting, understanding and critically evaluating current and emerging issues to inform policy development and government decision making. Job Responsibilities Level 4 Assistant Performance Officer: Undertake routine research and analysis of data aligned with corporate and divisional performance. Contribute to discussions with departmental staff and business areas on outcomes, ensuring data and reports are accurate and timely to support decision making on planning, governance and strategy. Remain up to date with identified trends and issues and undertake statistical projects to meet strategic information needs. Level 5 Performance Analyst: Support the Principal Performance Officer in developing, implementing and monitoring organisational performance frameworks, systems and processes. Monitor corporate performance and prepare performance reports in accordance with statutory and administrative requirements, including preparation of quarterly and annual reports on key performance indicators. Support business areas in developing performance measures and assist the budgeting and strategy team in producing annual budget statements and budget briefing notes. About You Have excellent analytical and critical thinking skills. Be delivery focussed and able to selfmanage workload. Be an effective communicator and able to work well in a team. Be able to build and maintain relationships.
