Our team are experts in a range of different farming areas, including precision farming services, marketing livestock and wool, agricultural services, water solutions, finance, insurance, merchandise and real estate.What You''ll Do:In this hands-on role, youll support Loveland Agri Products manufacturing and wholesale operations, partnering with the business to deliver clear, practical financial insights. Youll be responsible for:Support month-end/quarter-end/year-end close activities, including reconciliations, working papers and financial analysis (backup owner for month-end close).Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to monitor spend vs budget, support decision-making through modelling, and contribute to monthly business narratives.Assist with budgeting, strategic planning and forecasting, including ongoing tracking of key cost drivers and margin recovery.Prepare monthly divisional management reporting (P&L) for two manufacturing plants and head office, including variance analysis and performance insights when required.Assist with managing the procurement and settlement of required foreign exchange (FX) coverage, ensuring accurate forecasting of USD hedging and payment requirements.Maintain strong compliance and control environment (including inventory data accuracy, stocktakes/SOX testing, consignment/intercompany reconciliations, and audit support).Support on any adhoc project work as and when it arises.What You''ll Bring:Management accounting experience within manufacturing and wholesale environmentsCA or CPA qualification and degree in Accounting or FinanceExperience in agriculture or supply chain environments is highly regardedConfident in stakeholder management, providing insights and influencing decisions as a subject matter expertAdvanced Excel capability with experience using large ERP systems (SAP preferred)Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate clearly with non-finance stakeholdersWhat You''ll Get:A competitive remuneration and benefits packagePurchased leave scheme benefits.An additional day of leave Nutrien DayGender neutral parental leave policyOpportunities to support community partnerships across our network.Be a member of a company committed to feeding the future.Ongoing training and development to pursue individual ambitions.A culture of learning!Are you a good match?
